My Actual Birthday Cupcake

At first you may think this is another pumpkin bread shot but it's not. My Mom made me banana cupcakes with strawberry icing for my actual birthday. First I ate all the icing off the top and then I tried to get all the cake in my mouth in one bite but it didn't quite work. Can't blame a guy for trying! Yummy!

These are some of my favorite shots from my party on Saturday. At first I was interested in the wrapping paper but I quickly caught on that there was much better stuff inside like bouncy horses and cars I could ride in. And of course I enjoyed my smash cake - no it wasn't green, but it had lots of blue and yellow balloons on it.

This is my rocking octopus from my mommy's Aunt Donna. I'm big enough to ride it on my own and sometimes I successfully get off of it on my own as well.

No One Comes Between Me and My Pumpkin Bread

My Aunt Michelle is the best. Not only did she send me a big present in the mail just in time for my birthday but she baked pumpkin bread and sent that too! This was the last piece. I thought I'd speed up the process and just slide the plastic bag it was sitting on from the counter to my tray and help myself.

My Uncle Tor bought this dinosaur for me when I was tiny but it wasn't until recently that I realized its awesome cuddly powers. Every time I wake up, I'm holding him.

My 1st Thanksgiving

Here's me and my cousin Tom on Turkey Day and one of me and mom the weekend before playing in the leaves. I like the Fall! I ate turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, and my new favorite . . . pumpkin bread!

Well, I finally did it. I got my hair cut. We went to this really cool place for kids, which I really liked until it was my turn. As you can see I had to be subdued by sitting on Mommy's lap and getting my pacifier and having some snacks. I didn't really do a great job at sitting still but we made it through without any injuries and I look pretty good (don't let the tears fool you, I like my new haircut, my teeth were just bothering me).

Mowing the Lawn

This past weekend I went to Hightstown and helped my Grandpa with the grass. As you can see we had a great time - sorry Mom chopped off your head on that one pic Grandpa - you still look good. Couple other things I want to point out, my cool shoes and my long hair (you'll know why I mention my hair when you check out my next post).

My First Halloween

Well, well, well. Here I am dressed up as a Liverpool soccer player on Halloween. I went to my friend Jack's house and had some lite fare (chicken nuggets and cheese and crackers) before we set out on the town. It was quite chilly as you can see from my pic with dad but we had a goooood time (as you can see from my pic with mom)!

10 Months Old (10/15/2010)

That's right, I'm 10 months old already! I'm still a really good eater (I had eggs on toast this morning if you're interested). I'm starting to stand up with no hands and I've made it across the carpet with the help of my walker toy. Check ya later.

9 Months Old

Here I am at one of Dad's favorite places to eat in Wayne, Joe's. No that's not Joe in the background, that's my bud Marty, his dad was Joe.

Don't let the tag on this jersey fool you - I'm a big boy. I'm 30 inches long and almost 21 lbs. I finally made the 50th percentile for weight and continue to be in the 90th for height (and head circumference - no wonder I go through so many hats!)

The Big Apple (9/12/10)

Here I am with mom's college roommates and their kids. Mom thought she was going to get us all to pose for a picture - she must have been crazy - we were way too into our new toys. We did get to take a train and the subway. It was a great adventure.

Beach Time (8/26-8/29)

My first trip to the beach! What a blast! There's this stuff, called sand, that is really fun to put your hands and feet in. You can build shapes in it and load it into a dump truck and then dump it. It's fun, trust me. It's also hard work. And the fresh air really takes it out of me. I took a couple good rests with my mom and dad under the umbrella.

8 Months Old

I'm pretty happy to be 8 months old as you can see from these pics. I've started to crawl, I have my first tooth and when I'm done sleeping I just sit up in my crib and wait for someone to come get me. I'm weighing in a little over 20 lbs. I eat pretty much everything mom gives me but puffs. Yuck! They're like styrofoam peanuts - I don't get why kids like them. I'll take cantaloupe over a puff any day.

My First Trip to the Zoo (8/2/2010)

Mom and Dad took off from work and we went on an adventure to the zoo near our house. It was a fun time. I liked the bison - they were really big. Mom became a member so we can go back as many times as I want!

7 months old (7/15/2010)

As you can see I'm doing quite well with sitting up by the 7 month mark. Don't ask what kind of face my mom caught me doing in that second picture - I don't even recognize myself! I'm tipping the scales at 19lbs. I'm quite the healthy eater. I'm working my way through the alphabet, so far I've had applesauce, asparagus, avocado, broccoli , and carrots (not to mention my favorite - sweet potatoes)!
